Dragon Boat Donations 2017 FAQ

·         All donations must be made in cash or cheque (due to our participation as a PSO)

·         Cheques must be made out to “The Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund”

·         No personal mentions in the memo line

o   Clubs are encouraged to keep an accurate list of pledges towards their club to be cross referenced with to ensure accurate totals for the pledging incentive 


Incentive FAQ

·         Any clubs that fundraise over $2,000 can request funding from Judo NS equal to 20% of their collected pledges for eligible core club programming. 

·         Eligible core club programs include, but are not limited to, the purchase of equipment and coach/official clinics

·         How imbursement will be conducted:

o   Clubs must first incur the expense and submit receipts to Judo NS

o   Judo NS will review with Sport NS to ensure the expenses meet the outlined parameters

o   Provided the expense is approved, Judo NS will reimburse the club for the allotted expense

o   Clubs are encouraged to screen their initiatives with Judo NS prior to spending, to ensure that said initiative meets the outlined criteria
